Join the 'Sustainable Home Tour' in IKEA store
Most of us are aware of the impact our daily lives can have on the planet.
But ‘being sustainable’ feels like a big job. The thing we often forget is that we don’t have to do it alone. The key is to find small ways to do our part.

Sustainability is part of our thinking at IKEA, when it comes to product development, supplying and transport, store design, store operations, media production and more.
Globally, IKEA develops products and promotes solutions that:

• help our customers to save energy and water;
• reduce and recycle waste and;
• lead a healthier life at home.

During this sustainability campaign, we want to show you what one family of four living in an 55 sqm home could achieve by taking little actions toward sustainable living in these three areas. As you will see, little changes add up to benefit not only the planet, but also the family’s sense of well-being – and their wallets. They saved more than RM 3,130 in a year.
