About Parent Voices Amplified

What is Parents Voices Amplified?

Parent Voices Amplified is a digital network run by YoungMinds, the national charity working to improve youth mental health in the UK.

Parent Voices Amplified is a way for parents and carers to find out about and get involved with activities to improve youth mental health and mental health services in England. Through the Parents Voices Amplified network, you can:
  1.  Get informed about opportunities to participate in projects related to youth mental health at a local and national level including with NHS England
  2.  Access new resources for parents and carers about mental health
  3.  Participate in online surveys to speak out about youth mental health
  4.  Apply for volunteering opportunities with YoungMinds
  5.  Receive resources to help you campaign online about young people’s mental health
  6.  Find out about events related to youth mental health happening around the country

Who can join the network?

Any parent or caregiver (for a young person up to the age of 25) who is living in England, and passionate about improving youth mental health and mental health services for the better, is welcome in the network!

Everybody has mental health and it’s important that all parents and carers have a chance to speak out about mental health and get involved in improving mental health services for young people.  Parents and carers of all backgrounds are important part of the network including parents and carers of all genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, faiths and with different abilities. Equally we welcome parents with and without personal experience of supporting young people with mental illness or accessing mental health services.

As a member of the Parent Voices Amplified digital network, your voice will make a change to children and young people’s mental health provisions in England.

If you have any questions or would like a hand with the form, get in touch with us on participation@youngminds.org.uk
