Loan Awards

Welcome to GlobalCapital's annual poll to decide the winners of our Loan Awards. Thank you for your interest in our poll.

You may, if you wish, enter the polling process more than once, but you will not be able to re-access the votes you put in on a previous visit. This means that, for example, you can split up the voting and do it in several sessions, and the votes you put in each time will be recorded, but when you return for a later visit you will not see the votes you put in the previous time.

Banks, borrowers, investors, lawyers, private equity houses and service providers are all invited to vote for the best performers of 2017. Please leave blank any questions that do not apply to your company.

In the best deal awards, any deal completed between November 13, 2016 and November 30, 2017 is eligible.

In January, GlobalCapital will publish the shortlist for each award, based on the institutions and deals that get the most votes. We will reveal the winners at our 15th Syndicated Loan & Leveraged Finance Dinner, to be held on February 7, 2018 in London. 1. Before you start voting, we have a few ground rules. Please read these carefully and tick the boxes to indicate you have read and understood each point.

1. In each category we invite you to give up to three answers, with answer 1 ranking the best or highest. You do not have to nominate more than one winner, however.

2. Each institution is allowed one vote. Please consult with your colleagues before you submit your vote. It is fine for several colleagues to vote in different parts of the poll.

2. 3. You may not vote for your own institution or an affiliate.

3. 4. GlobalCapital will keep your votes anonymous. We ask you to do the same.

4. 5. You need not vote in every category. But, in the best bank categories, an institution is not eligible to win an award in a category in which it has not voted.

5. 6. Tactical voting, for example for weak candidates, is not allowed. Please give your honest opinion when voting. This is very important for the integrity of the poll. If you do not win in a particular category, you would rather a deserving rival won than an undeserving one. We reserve the right to ask your reasons for your votes.

6. 7. Campaigning or canvassing market participants to vote for you is not allowed. Nor is discussing how you vote with other market participants outside your firm. We will disqualify institutions that do this, and if you have evidence that a firm has been campaigning, please inform silas.brown@globalcapital.com
