In February 2017, the LGA in association with The Campaign Company launched New Conversations, a guide to help councils improve the ways in which they engage with residents. You can see the guide here: https://www.local.gov.uk/new-conversations-lga-guide-engagement
Two years on, we’re working to update and improve the guide. This follows feedback from councils, new developments in best practice around engagement, and changes in the wider context. This survey will directly feed into that improvement work, ensuring that the revised guide best meets the needs of local government.
