Expert Database Microbiome Support

MicrobiomeSupport aims to increase visibility of experts working in the field of microbiome research in food systems and other environments, such as terrestrial, plant, aquatic, food and human/animal.

For this purpose, we welcome experts to register in this database, whether working at public research institutes, universities, industry or at funding and policy organization.
Purpose of this registration sheet is to create a microbiome expert database and provide them with information about this study and invite them to workshops/interviews/etc.

The International Bioeconomy Forum, the MicrobiomeSupport CSA project and others may use the publicly accessible database worldwide to find experts and contact them.

AIT Austrian Institute of Technology (“AIT”, Giefinggasse 2; 1210 Vienna, info@microbiomesupport.eu) is responsible to process your personal data within the expert database

This registration form is hosted by AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH (“AIT”, Giefinggasse 4, 1210 Vienna; office@ait.ac.at)t. AIT processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the AIT Data Protection Policy (https://www.ait.ac.at/en/disclaimer-data-protection/).

If you provide your consent below, your name, organisation and contact details will be stored and processed in order to conduct the MicrobiomeSupport project (https://www.microbiomesupport.eu), provide you with information on results of this study, workshop invitations, and/or invitations to interviews related to the study. By ticking the box, you also provide your consent that your entered personal data will be shared with MicrobiomeSupport partners (https://www.microbiomesupport.eu/project-partners/) and are published in an online database accessible via MicrobiomeSupport website (https://www.microbiomesupport.eu).

Your personal data will be processed until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

In addition you have the right of access to your personal data, to obtain the rectification or erasure of your data, the right to obtain the restriction of processing or the right to transmit your data to another controller under the specific terms of the General Data Protection Regulation. If you are of the opinion that your data is processed unlawfully, you have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority (www.dsb.gv.at).

Please note, that in the initial phase of the project the expert database will be processed by Survey Monkey (https://www.surveymonkey.de/) on behalf of AIT.

To ensure the quality of the expert database, all expert data submitted will be checked before the submitted information is published in the database.
