Parents Survey

Consent Form

This survey is being conducted by the National Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre (ABC), which is located in the Institute of Education, Dublin City University, St. Patrick’s Campus, Dublin 9.

The study is aimed at assessing parents’ awareness of bullying, cyber-bullying and online safety issues as well as related policies and procedures that have been or should be implemented in order to prevent bullying in schools.

The procedure involves filling out a computer-based survey that will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Your responses will be confidential and we do not collect identifying information such as your name. We will do our best to keep your information confidential. To help protect your confidentiality, the survey will not contain information that will personally identify you. The results of this study will be used for scholarly purposes only and we will never identify any participant(s).

Your participation in this study is voluntary. You may choose not to participate and you are free to omit any questions you do not wish to answer, but we would be grateful if you answered as completely as possible. If you decide to participate in this research survey, you may withdraw at any time. If you decide not to participate in this study or if you withdraw from participating at any time, you will not be penalised.
