SOAS Social Action Fund Application

Social Action Fund

Social Action is people coming together to help improve lives and combat social injustice. This includes:
  • Acts of kindness
  • Educational and social projects
  • Community action and research
  • One day events or extended projects
Through the combined commitment and skills of people, social action can empower communities, support those in need, and complement public services.

If you are passionate about making a difference in your community and have a great idea for a project, you can apply for the Social Action Fund and receive up to £250 as an individual, or £500 as a group.

Criteria:
  1. Must be a current student​
  2. Must aim to support at least one of SOAS’ Access & Participation Plan targets​ (page 10).
  3. Must be targeted towards your local community, a community group, or partner.​
  4. Must have SMART Objectives and a clear budget outline.​
  5. Must be completed, with full evaluation submitted by end of academic year
